MY STORY....

I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Across the border is Juanez, Mexico. Drugs and alcohol are a way of life. You might say, as a child you could choose what your choice of drug would be. I was married for 18 years, but then everything got out of control, resulting in me losing everything, family and all. I left Texas in 1991 and wondered around from state to state, city to city, and Mission to Mission. I attended many chapel services, and Bible classes. They seemed to lack something. I always left wanting and wishing for more. Now I have found more here at the Salt Lake City Mission. What I have found here is a real and true way to establish a serious relationship with God. After wondering around for 15 years, I am where I want to be, doing the Lord's will, helping others, giving them the attention and help.
