Steve Bailey Salt Lake City Mission Program Director

Steve is married to his beautiful wife, Kay and is the father of three beautiful daughters, Brittnee age 19, Breeanna age 15, and Brandalyn age 14. Pastor Bailey is excited to live for Jesus and is most proud of being a Born Again Christian. Both Steve and his wife, Kay are ordained ministers through Worldwide Gospel Church Ministries, under the leadership of Dr. Willie Dunn Jr., of Worldwide Gospel Ministries. Pastor Bailey's daughter is also a licensed minister through Worldwide and works with the youth. At Worldwide Steve oversees the men's fellowship meetings, the youth activities and ministers, and he is the drummer for the music ministry. Pastor Kay oversees all of the youth activities as well as overseeing the Food Box Program at the Utah Food Bank. Steve came to the Lord as a young boy after watching Billy Graham one evening but during his teen years he rebelled and got into drugs, alcohol, and dropped out of school. After 15 years of living a meaningless life he reached the end of himself. He then made a life commitment to serve God with all of his life. "Over the years God has taken the fear or conformity to the world from me, a sound mind, power to live and love everyone,"Steve continues,"Nothing compares to enjoying God's presence in my life." Steve received his Bachelors of Science in psychology in 1999, and certification as a substance abuse counselor in social work in 1998. Both through the University of Utah. Steve now serves as the Program Director with the Salt Lake City Mission where he works with men who are seeking God's grace, mercy and power to not only overcome sin but to testify to others about God's indescribable gift of life in Jesus Christ.
