Objectives and Goals of the Program

Our objective is to supply an avenue for overcoming life controlling addictions and behaviors by providing an environment of learning, modeling, and encouraging biblical values and moral character.  We strive to develop the individuals understanding, trust, and support systems.  We believe that recovery is not just an eight-month program but must be maintained for life.  Our goal is not just to bring someone to sobriety but encourage them to reach their full God-given potential.  Three attributes form our program foundation.

We promote:

1. Accountability to God and our fellow brothers and sisters.

2. Responsibility for our own actions and not the actions of others.

3. Integrity in all that we do, both what is seen by others,  that which is done in private.

How do we accomplish our goals?

We teach each person to speak the truth in love. If someone feels slighted or overlooked, they must speak up.  Our groups complete honesty about facts as well as one's feelings. We advocate each person to win his personal issues.  We must deal with our own mess and not get into someone else's business, unless invited.  We insist that truth be told no matter how embarrassing or uncomfortable it may feel.  Jesus tells us the truth will make us free.
